The Pampanga Diaries

Lent is a most anticipated event (annually) for the most christians and catholisism for this visita iglesia and a time to pray while visiting those churches along Pampanga. There's a time to wish their luck, prayers and well-anticipation with these 6 churches to must-try to visit.

- Was the first-stop of our Lenten Pilgrimage to celebrate the mass and the beginning of the way of the cross,
Holy Rosary Parish Church

-(Then Santo Rosario Church) build in 1877 is the oldest church in downtown Angeles who handle by the Spanish colonial government. And every Good Friday of the holy week, devotees have a procession with barefooted as a sign of sacrifice, mercy and compassion.

San Fernando Metropolitan Cathedral

-is the oldest church than Holy Rosary church (build in 1754.) Great for almost celebration such as wedding ceremony.

- is the first and oldest cathedral for long-years ago in the low-land of Bacolor. And in 1991, the half of a chapel sink due to lahar (lava and rain-flood)

-as same as San Guillermo, this original chapel sunk by lahar and now, the original one is rebuild the new one as seen in this picture.

Sinulog or ati-atihan festival is celebrated every 3rd Sunday of January to give-thanks to the young holy child, Jesus and to give their blessings for every children who wear different kinds and styles of Sto. Niño's dress.

Event: OLOPS College and guest/alumni Christmas party
Location: Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center, Riverbanks, Marikina City

It was the night to remember for the kids of this college too fun, hippy and cool party like no tomorrow and it exact to their latest theme called "Retro Fever" it even they born from the 90's, they suit their young ones at a lifetime.
From throwback costumes (e.g., Madonna, Elvis Presley, etc.), cocktail drinks and to the cool stuff freebies to take-home for it like Smartphones, accessories, etc. And in this pictures, the before-during-after Aurora Borealis-inspired disco lights with sounds including oldies, but goodies music.
I really-really thankful for this opportunity to this best-party night event, EVER!

#ThrowbackThursday: My Dad's Birthday



20th of September, 2014 (Saturday)

There's a time to pick-up those preparations, potlucks and many more and it's important to bring him a surprise treat for a big day. Even it's delayed, importantly happy together as a job.
Someday, will take a new place to visit for once-in-a-life birthday party experience (hopefully.) Next birthdays will takes on-location like out-of-town/country parties like in Cebu or Hong Kong for great example.

Virabhadrasana III  - It is possible to enter Vīrabhadrāsana III using vinyasas starting from Tāḍāsana:
  1. Starting from Tāḍāsana
  2. The arms are stretched up, palm touching.
  3. Inhaling spread the legs sideways by jumping or stepping, creating a gap of 2/3 body height.
  4. Exhaling turn the trunk facing to the left while rotating the left foot 90° so it faces forward and the right foot so it points slightly to the right
  5. Bend the left knee till the thigh is parallel to the floor, avoid extending the bent knee past the ankle and keeping the other leg straight.
  6. Stretch the right leg, with the knee locked.
  7. The head, chest, left knee and left foot should be aligned facing forward.
  8. The head should be bent back and up with the eyes facing the hands.
  9. Hold the asana from one to four breaths.
  10. Return to Step 4 repeat on the other side.
Virabhadrasana II (Warrior II)*
Virabhadrasana II  Virabhadra. Vira (hero) + Bhadra (friend) and ordered him to go to the yagna and destroy Daksha and all his guests.
  • Virabhadra's first aspect, (Vīrabhadrāsana I) is his arrival, with swords in both hands, thrusting his way up through the earth from below.
  • In his second aspect, (Vīrabhadrāsana II) he sightes his opponent, Daksha.
  • And in his third aspect (Vīrabhadrāsana III), moving swiftly and precisely, he decapitates Daksha’s with his sword.
Shiva then arrives at the yagna and sees the rout that Virabhadra had wrought. Shiva absorbs Virabhadra back into his own form and then transforms into Hare, the ravisher. Filled with sorrow and compassion Shiva finds Daksha’s body and giving it the head of a goat, brings him back to life. In the end Sati is also reborn.

Shavasana (Modified Corpse)*
Shavasana - Shavasana is perhaps the most important part of yoga practice. Lying on the back, the arms and legs are spread at about 45 degrees, the eyes are closed and the breath deep, using deergha (long) pranayama
