Nail Art 101: Dual-Colored Pastelled Neons




TOOLS:
  • Tooth Pick (5-10 pcs.)
  • Dry Sponge or Clean, Recycled White Foam
  • Acetate (1 Sheet) or Clear Plastic Sheets
  • Acetone or Nail Polish Remover
  • Cotton Buds (3-4 pcs.)
NAIL POLISH:
 * Caronia regular Nail Polish in:
  • Cashmere
  • First Crush 
 * or use the other color of your nail polish if you want more creative
 * Chic Nail Polish in Colorless (as finishing coat)

 
PROCEDURE:
  • Cut a small piece of white foam as a nail art sponge (or use a dry sponge as a substitute nail art sponge)
  • Put your nail polish in your nail first as first base
  • In a one sheet of plastic acetate, put two colors of your chosen colored nail polish (e.g., two chosen colors like first crush and cashmere)
  • Spread up in the middle of two-tone color with a tooth pick into a swirl
  • Then, dip it with a small foam or a sponge and press it to a nail coat for a second base
  • Clean-up the excess nail polish in your cornered nail skin using nail polish remover with cotton buds
  • Lastly, cover up with colorless nail polish as a third base for finishing touch with extra shine.
