FAN-demic 101

In today's featured article, those things were being a sick-obsession that was dedicated to all fans all over the globe by being a huge fans in many field like Music, Arts, etc. related in popular culture.

THE MEANING:


FAN – (noun) is a devotee of particular reason were obsessed for one-thing or another. e.g., sports, pursuit entertainer, etc.
FANATIC – (noun) is an inordinately zealous adherent or supporters, especially in politics or religion.

FROM OLD SCHOOL TO NEW SCHOOL:

In Celebrity crushes
Drew Barrymore's magazine clippings
OLD SCHOOL: Spend your money for collectible magazines (where she/he features on the cover by frequently), posters or everything to collect clipping of your favorite personalities like in Hollywood.
NEW SCHOOL: Social Media fan page explosion! Every boys and girls who follow their lives of a celebrities using Facebook™ or Twitter™ for sure-fired updates.

In Movie goers
OLD SCHOOL: Film viewing at the cinematic theater.
NEW SCHOOL: Many websites offer a home-based type movie viewing (in advanced screening) to go online (no need to go to movie house) or instead, rent a DVD or VCD for a marathon.

In Music scene
OLD SCHOOL: Listening your Mom’s and Dad’s music using vinyl records, Old stuffs like Tom Jones, Beach Boys, etc. Watching opera concerts.
NEW SCHOOL: Jam-packed hits like pop music (e.g.,Madonna) Number one hit song locally and international scene.
One Directioners from Britain

In Boybands/Girlbands
OLD SCHOOL: Groove to the beat of The Beattles.
NEW SCHOOL: One Directioners, K-pop themed, everything but extraordinary.

In Sports
OLD SCHOOL: Watching live at the arena (e.g., Basketball, Football)
NEW SCHOOL: Pay-per-views, (at the bar, restos) livestream computers are IN to afford a VIP* passes.

In TV series (Drama, Comedy, Reality, etc.)
OLD SCHOOL: Too many TV shows saw on cable channels.
NEW SCHOOL: Match-airing foreign shows (e.g., America's Next Top Model, The Vampire Diaries, etc.) airs in national television straight from different countries using livestream viewing in computer and in satellite dish channels.

In Celebrity love teams
OLD SCHOOL: For example, Nora Aunor’s fans receive a necklace flower or Sampaguita that symbolize a true-blue Noranian supporters and also, Guy and Pip (Tirso Cruz, III.)
NEW SCHOOL: Romantic novels thru fiction or true-to-life are more meaningful, nonsense-free and NOT gossip-related topic.

In Royalty/Political views
OLD SCHOOL: Supporters and managers who manage political campaigns like in elections (for example.)
NEW SCHOOL: Social Medias are IN for their many information about the social awareness and serving a nation building by their Law on in code of ethics.
