FLICK TRIVIA:
  • This Aussie flick is awesome and I read it first of McLauren's title before I saw the film star by Aussie-born singer and actress, Delta Goodrem.
  • A 1984 novel written by Robin Klein as a pre-teen comedy has a strong moral undercurrent about the pursuit of happiness and perfection, the pressures of growing up and the power of friendship.
  • (And)  portrays the agonies of school-girl rivalries, constant embarrassment by family, and painful and often brutally funny awkwardness and insecurity.
